I have no idea why I let myself go so long without continuing this series， it’s so much fun？！ I can’t wait to see where this wild， slightly confusing but highly entertaining story takes this fabulous group of girls in the next volume。 TW: homophobia

the future is so weird and cool and scary！！ but i guess that's true of every point in time。with this volume it really struck me that each girl is amazingly strong in her own way。 and all are clever， caring， and unwaveringly brave。so many time travel mindfucks going on here。 （view spoiler）[mac's cancer is kind of a self fulfilling prophecy， as it's a side effect of time hopping？？ and the kiss between mac and KJ is ALSO A SELF FULFILLING PROPHECY since KJ shares her premonition， and they decide to the future is so weird and cool and scary！！ but i guess that's true of every point in time。with this volume it really struck me that each girl is amazingly strong in her own way。 and all are clever， caring， and unwaveringly brave。so many time travel mindfucks going on here。 （view spoiler）[mac's cancer is kind of a self fulfilling prophecy， as it's a side effect of time hopping？？ and the kiss between mac and KJ is ALSO A SELF FULFILLING PROPHECY since KJ shares her premonition， and they decide to make it happen when they reach the right moment？？ holy shit！！ so much complicated stuff here about intentionality and creating our own futures。 （hide spoiler）]so much joy seeing 1999 tiffany and 1988 tiffany embrace when they find out there will be black presidents in the future！！but that joy is countered with the terror of the last few pages of the volume。 （view spoiler）[each paper girl is transported to a different era: KJ to sometime in the past， tiffany and mac to different unknown creature-filled timescapes， and erin to perhaps the most surreal horror of all。 halloween 2016， with a kid in a tr*mp mask looming over her。 this series was released at the perfect point in our timeline， and it hits right where it hurts。are we okay？？（hide spoiler）]["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]> 。。。more

Excellent time travel romp。 This has everything you could want in time travel sci-fi from unique settings and characters to some fantastic references and a great plot。Can’t wait to see how it all ends。
